About the Director *
The director of the Center's theater project is Pablo Ariel, an actor and a well-known director, artist and puppeteer. Pablo was born in Argentina and moved to Israel in 1972, he settled in the Western Galilee. He has performed his one-man show all over the world and has also directed dozen of shows for children and for adults. He has produced a series of educational films about human rights that are shown in all Israeli schools. Peace and human rights associations including Amnesty International, have exported the film to many other countries.
Pablo also served as the artistic director of Street and Fringe Theater for the Israel Festival, the Acco Festival and the Haifa Children's Theater Festival. Israel 's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sponsored several trips abroad for Pablo to represent Israel at numerous international cultural events. Since 1991, Pablo Ariel has worked with different Symphony Orchestras,in Israel and abroad as a stage director, actor and scriptwriter of Concerts for Children. These concerts combine orchestras with stage performance. Some of them were broadcasted by the Israeli Television for the children's channel |
